When they learn how to express their love..

Hello everyone....

Its been a while since my last post.. Well, my 'time management' made me a bit worn out lately -blame to my habit and traffic :).. as always..And i hardly find some moments that made me nailed to my chair, so im able to write some note..

Now, let me share to you another small things that matters to me..

In my previous postings  ini, I expressed my feelings, appreciations to both children we have, for their concern, attention, when i had some ulcer problem..

Last night, on our way back.. as usual, we had some chat..
While he was riding a motorcycle, and i try to beat the silence (or my sleepiness... ) by opening a few 'parents conversation'.. It is always start with :

How's the children?

The answer amazed me..

Apparently, due to a short term class before having Hari Raya holiday, they were taught by their teacher to make a simple craft - a Greeting cards of Hari Raya.

It is made by paper, with a simple method of paper quilting (and to be frank, i have no idea what that is..)
Anyway, so they were handed over somecards in which they will create, write some greetings in it and present it to their parents, either mother, father or both..

When my daughter - Kirana got home, she instantly (as always) take the card out and showed it to my husband. Hubby is always her favorite, a tipical daddy's little girl ..
My daughter is a kind of person that is quite creative and love doing girly figures, as you can see from the picture she made :

The doll that represent herself has eyelashes :)

I have to admit, she is quite artistic.. Those who knows me and my daughter will be able to tell, that she inherited some from me and some from my husband...

On the other hand, my son.. Is a tipical boy.. He is close to my husband but inseparable to me.
Hardly say or show affection - but when meeting the child psychologist , the psychologist told us that he seems closer to me than anyone else..

Well, I thought, thats what all boys do .. isnt it?

To cut the story short, in relation with the art & craft class they were both having during the day, hubby questioned him..

Hubby : "Your sister just showed me her result, dont you have one for me as well?"

His answer was short, yet shocking..

Raffa : "Oh yes, I do have.. But made it for ibunda, not for you ayah.. "

Hubby :  Can I see it ?

Raffa : " No, its for bunda.. you cant see it before her.."

When i first hear it, i laugh out loud.. and hubby continues..
"He never did that to me, usually he will ask for suggestion, now.. he decide to have you as his priorities.."..

Well.... what can i say then??

When we finally got home, meeting the children and my son, hand me over the card..
At the beginning, he said. please read it after shalat ied..

But 5 minutes afterward, he changed his mind.. and with a shmily gestures handed me over this :

Look what he wrote : "Aku sayang bunda"

My son, is a less artistic than his sister, as you can see with the picture he drew..
He said the picture represent me.. the car and the high rise building where i go to work..

I stunned.. cant say a thing..

My son is not a tipical person that can express his feeling.. not into writing nor verbally... but he did  it yesterday.. And i am so gratefull.. I never thought.. being a mother means that you  will have an endless blessings..

So, small objects that i received from my children yesterday, is never a small thing to me..
They are like a universe packed in a card, wrap with love and sealed with kisses..
Dont you think so? I do believe that he inherited the romantic side from his father :)

Now, let me kneel down and grateful for all blessing that had given to us..
God, Thank you for the loving family and friends.. and all gifts that we can hardly say..
Thank you for giving us a live that is full of suprises... and ability to enjoy every moment of it..
Thank you..

we learned a lot from the gifts that you sent to us..
Thank you for being with us, and showing us that every single moment counts..
That what we've done is harvested today..
Thank you...
